What is a hopper dryer?

Hopper dryer is one of the essential auxiliary machines in the injection molding industry. It can be used to drying materials more quickly when preparing for the next production. It can greatly improve the efficiency of injection molding production. And the hopper dryer can be directly installed on the injection molding machine that not only has high drying efficiency but also saves space.

The working principle of hopper dryer

In the processing of raw materials, the hopper dryer blows constant hot air into the drying barrel through the drying fan. After baking the raw materials, the original moisture can be taken away. Also after electric heating, the air blown by the hopper drying fan can be evenly dispersed in the drying barrel, and the raw material in the barrel is dried by the hot air. 

If needed, we can also provide a dryer with recovery function, so that the blown air through the return air filtration into the dryer to form a closed circulation loop, and to achieve the purpose of saving electricity.

Application range of hopper dryer

At present, the role of the hopper dryer in drying plastic raw materials is the most significant, and it can dry raw materials that are wet for various reasons. The straight-junction design is especially suitable for drying directly on the plastic molding machine, which is fast and space-saving, cost-effective, and basically suitable for all rubber and plastic manufacturers.
